聖書の中では家族で子供たちに神様のことを教えるように言われています（申命記6:4-9）。親は人生のどんな時でもよく子供たちを教え、それも子供を怒らせないように行うようにと書かれています（エペソ 6:4）。そのための素晴らしい方法の一つが家族で礼拝することです。
In the Bible, families are told to take part in the discipling of their children (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). Parents are to diligently teach their children consistently throughout every moment of life. We are also to do this in a way that is not aggravating to our children (Ephesians 6:4). One great way to start the habit of discipling your family is to do family worship.

家族の礼拝は家族が集まって一緒に聖書から学び、祈り、賛美を歌う時間です。とても簡単で多くの準備は必要ありません。教え、祈り、賛美という三つに分けて考えるとやりやすいです。Family worship is simply a time when everyone in the family gets together to learn from the Bible, pray, and sing together. It is very simple and can be done with little to no preparation. You can think of it in three sections: Teach, Pray, Sing.

教え Teach

家族に福音を教えましょう（ローマ15:14）。一緒に読んだ聖書の箇所が、どうイエス様が救い主であることとつながっているのか考えてみましょう（小さなお子さんがいらっしゃる場合は、子供用の聖書や聖書の短めのお話などを読むといいかもしれません）。例えば、神様が天地を創造した話を読む時は、「神様はすごいね！けどそれよりもすごいのは私たちが罪を犯して世界を壊しちゃったのに、神様がイエス様として自分の造った世界に入ってきて救ってくれたんだよ。」などと言えます。
You can teach your family the gospel (Romans 15:14). Read the Bible together and connect what you read to Jesus as our savior (if you have younger children, it will be helpful to use a children’s Bible or to read a short portion of narrative scripture). For example, when you read the story of Creation you can say, “Isn’t God amazing? What is even more amazing is that even though we sinned and this world is broken, God came into creation himself as the man Jesus Christ to save us.”

If you don’t have children or have older children, after reading the Bible, ask these questions:

What does this teach me about God?

一緒にニューシティーカテキズムをやりましょう（いろいろな言語で読めます：www.unisonworship.com ）。カテキズムとはキリスト教の信仰を質問と答えの形で、わかりやすく学ぶことのできる教材です。カテキズムによって、キリスト教の基本的な教えを全体的に把握し、福音をはっきりと理解することができます。
Do the New City Catechism together (various translations available here: newcitycatechism.com/translations/). A catechism is a series of questions and answers used to teach and learn basic beliefs of the Christian faith. The outcome of catechism is a solid grasp on the basic teachings of the Bible and a clear understanding of the gospel.

1週間に1つを目安に進めてみましょう。小さなお子さんのためには簡単に説明したり、穴埋め問題でやってみたりしましょう。
Try to do one per week, not more. You can simplify it for younger children or just have them fill in the blank with certain words.

祈りPray

一緒に祈りましょう（ヤコブ5:16）。小さなお子さんがいる方は短く祈りましょう。お子さんに祈り方を教えるために、自分の祈りの後に同じ言葉をお子さんに繰り返してもらいましょう。
Pray together (James 5:16). Make it a short prayer if you have small children. You can ask if they want to repeat after you so you can teach them to pray.

賛美 Sing

一緒に賛美の歌を歌いましょう。神様は偉大な方で私たちが喜びの賛美を歌うのにふさわしい方です（詩篇 67:4）。さらに賛美を歌うことで福音の真理を自分の心に植えつけることになります（コロサイ 3:16）。音痴でも楽器が弾けなくても賛美はできます！！楽しんで賛美しましょう！神様を讃えて、歌い、踊りましょう。
Sing a praise song together. It is appropriate to sing songs to God because he is great and worthy of our joyous praise (Psalm 67:4). Singing worship songs also implants gospel-truths in our hearts (Colossians 3:16). You don’t need to be a good singer or know how to play an instrument. Have fun! Sing and dance together praising God.

家族での礼拝は15分以内になるのが望ましいです。必要以上に重々しい時間にする必要はありません。特に小さなお子さんがいらっしゃる方は、お子さんも楽しめる時間になると最高です。思い通りにいかないことも多いと思います。それでも大丈夫です。イエス様の弟子作りは、一生をかけて行うものです。家族での礼拝は、神様が私たちの心に神様をもっと愛して他の人をもっと愛することを教えてくれるための習慣を作る方法の一つです。
Altogether, family worship should take 15 minutes or less. Don’t feel any pressure to make this be an overly serious time. Especially if you have small children, this should be a fun moment in the day. You can expect it will be full of interruptions. That’s OK. Discipleship is a process that takes our whole life. This is a way to establish a habit of diligently teaching our families the gospel so that God works in our hearts to bring us to love him and love others more.
